38-Week Bumpdate & ~BLOGTOBER BLOG HOP~

38 Week Bumpdate & BLOGTOBER Blog Hop

Welcome back to Blogtober here at Hart of Blogging! Today I will be sharing a quick 38 Week Bumpdate with y’all and a Blogtober Blog Hop!

BUT FIRST…

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of my readers. Hart Of Blogging has seen some of the highest traffic numbers it’s seen in months and that is honestly so motivating for me. Knowing that someone out there reads what I write about and chooses to take time out of their day to converse with me about their own thoughts and opinions. Those comments down there really mean more to me than y’all will ever know! So thank you again to each and every one of you!

That being said, let’s hop into this post, shall we!

38-Week Bumpdate

Well, not much has changed since my 37 Week Bumpdate. We’ve just had our 38-week visit with the Dr. a few days ago. Last week was on Wednesday, this week was Tuesday, and this coming week he wants to see us on Monday! Apparently, Baby Boy could possibly come any time now. Whew. That is a crazy thing to think about! We are incredibly excited to meet Baby H, but thinking about the fact that it’s just us two for a little bit longer, it’s strange. For over 5 years, it’s just been us. Day in and day out. Here together, going everywhere together, doing everything together… I feel like it will be a huge change. But the most welcome change in the world!

Quick Bumpdate –

  • Baby Boy weighs a little over 8 lbs now. He is growing so quickly these last few weeks.
  • Sleep is still barely there. Just constantly uncomfortable, these nights just getting up and not laying down seems to be easier.
  • Baby H is still head down! Thankfully he stayed that way over the last week.
  • He pushes out my right side very often and it is very, very painful.
  • My feet and legs are swollen every day now. Even if I elevate them and don’t walk too much… still swollen.
  • The queasy feeling still hits me every now and then.
  • I’m hungry ALL THE TIME.

I think that’s about it for this Bumpdate. Everything from my 37 Week Bumpdate is still pretty current. If you haven’t read that one yet, you can visit that post here.

Now, time for my BLOGTOBER BLOG HOP!

In this section of the post, I’m going to link some of the wonderful people out there who have shown my blog love so far this month! Without you guys, I don’t know if I’d have the motivation to keep posting every single day.

So without further ado šŸ™‚

There you have it! So many lovely people who have stopped by Hart Of Blogging and showed me some love! I hope y’all will visit their blogs and spread the LOVE!

Supporting each other is the only way we will all continue to thrive in this blogging community!

Lot’s of Love,

~ Ray

I can’t think about the labor & delivery too much these days. My emotions are through the roof and I just can’t even… LOL.

  1. Thanks for including me in your bump. Iā€™m so excited for you that your baby is about to be born. Good luck and just so you know my feet were swollen too when I was pregnant.

  2. That’s exciting that you are so close to seeing Baby H. I remember the last few weeks of being pregnant as pretty rough as well. Thank you so much for including me in your blog hop!

    1. Of course I’d include you, Sarah! Thank you for all the comments you leave on my posts and on Twitter!
Yes, these last few weeks are pretty rough compared to how the rest of my pregnancy has been.
Rough, uncomfortable, downright painful sometimes… but so worth it I’m sure šŸ™‚ <3
      Thank you for stopping by!

  3. Congratulations! Maybe even though it’s no fun it’s good you can barely sleep now- it’s your body’s way of preparing you for life with a newborn. You can come join the #momsquad over on Twitter. We have loads of fun griping in solidarity about what our sleep deprived lives have become after kids.

    1. Thank you! I’d love to join the #momsquad on Twitter! Thanks for the invite!
And I don’t mind the restlessness, it’s the pain I could do without! I’ll be happy when I can sleep somewhat painless again lol

Loving these bump updates. This must be an exciting time for you, especially being your first. You won’t even know what you did with your time after you have little baby H. Its such a blessing. Savour every moment.

Thanks for the shout out too. Real humbled.
