~ Mother’s Day Gift Ideas ~

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to give some of you a little inspiration as to what to get those special ladies in your life.

Now, obviously, you will want to take into consideration what these ladies actually like. For example, you might not want to get them a candle gift set if you’ve never seen a single candle in their home. Chances are, they don’t actually like candles. However, it is completely up to you and I’m sure they will like whatever you choose as long as it comes from the heart.

Some of these gifts are more traditional type mother’s day gifts, however, some of them you may have not thought of yet. So let’s jump right in shall we!

#1 – A Custom Picture Blanket

I did this a few years ago and it came out beautifully. If the mom’s in your life like a nice throw blanket for the couch or bed, then this is definitely one I would consider. I am not affiliated with Shutterfly, but their products are amazing.

#2 – A Candle Gift Set

If your mom or grandmother loves candles, then get them a candle gift set. A gift set is always a good idea for the candle lover in your family. Options are the best, which makes sets the ideal choice. Here are a few of my favorites!

These candles are wonderful and provide ample choices! Maybe 1 or 2 they already know they love and 1 or 2 new ones that they get to find out if they love. It’s always a good idea to have options.

#3 – Spa Gift Certificate / Spa Day

Give the ladies in your life a wonderful, fun, special time to be together. Organize a spa day at your favorite local spa, or set one up at home!

Make this a time for all of you to come together for an hour or two and get massages, drink cucumber water, try out a new face mask, and maybe get a mani/pedi while you’re there. You will enjoy the time together and make memories that won’t soon be forgotten!

#4 – Mother’s Day Brunch – Gifts for the Momma’s

Throw a Mother’s Day Brunch and provide a little gift for each of the mother’s who attend. Like a personalized mason jar/drinking glass, or a little photo frame with a picture of them and their children in it, or maybe a personalized bookmark if they love to read. Just a little something that makes them feel extra special on Mother’s Day.

#5 – Kitchen Treasures

These are a few ideas for the cook/baker in your family. You could get some wooden utensils and have them engraved with quotes or sayings your mom is sure to love. Or, you could get a baking gift set. I know for myself, I LOVE to bake and cook, so getting new baking pans or cookware for mother’s day would make me smile from ear to ear. Or you could get something personalized especially for your mom’s or grandma’s kitchen, like a sign with their name on it. The options are endless and sure to bring a smile to your mom’s face!

There you have it. Some of my favorite Mother’s Day Gift Ideas. Now, I know Mother’s Day isn’t that far away, but there are ways to get these gifts to you in time, or DIY some of them! Get creative. Whatever you choose, let your gift come from your heart this year. Show Mom just how much she means to you.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday tomorrow and enjoy all the festivities sure to take place this weekend!

Lots of Love,

~Ray

  1. such a great list!! I love the Spa day or the brunch, because nothing replaces quality time 🙂 I totally recommend this for people who are older and want to do something for their parents. I went to Disneyland with my mom and sister for my mom’s birthday and we had so much fun. Looking forward to seeing your future posts <3
