I recently read Sarah’s January Goals over @ the Insecure Housewife Blog. Setting smaller goals for each month sounded like such a good idea. So, I thought I would come up with some goals for myself just for January.
Are a wonderful idea! Especially if you already have an idea of what you want your year to shape up like. Asking yourself what steps you need to take in order to achieve your yearly goals. For example, one of my 2019 year goals was to grow my blog. Well, every day I make sure to do something blog related. If one of your yearly goals is to run a marathon, then one of the steps to achieving that is probably to train every day/week.
I know we are a full week into January now, but it’s never too late to set some goals right? When I was thinking about the goals I want to set for myself for January, there were a few things that immediately popped into my head. These are some things that I believe are attainable, and will help me get a little bit closer to achieving my yearly goals.
Below, I share with you my Top 5 Goals For January 2019 (besides the obvious #1 – busting my butt to learn how to be a good mom to my Little Man while continuing to be a good wife as well. ) At the end of this month, I will do an update post letting you guys know how I did at achieving my goals for January and what some of my February goals will be.
My Goals for January 2019
Grow my Twitter following to 800
Complete my daily devotional every day
Read 1 full book
Wake up early (Before 7am) every day
Apply for (and hopefully get) a freelance/writing job
These may not seem like huge goals, but they are a start and if I can achieve these 5 things from now to the end of January then I will consider that an accomplishment and I will be proud that I set these goals and then stuck to them.
Are there any specific goals that you have decided to set for yourself this month?
Let me know in the comments!
I love hearing from all of you. Thanks for reading!
Lots of Love,
