What Is The Best/Safest Room Temp For Babies

So this has been a constant argument in our home lately. How cool should baby’s room be for naps? Everywhere I look says around 19-23C which is 66-74F.

What do you guys think? Please let me know in the comments!

There are a few things out there that really worry me. SIDS, of course, but also just Baby Boy being uncomfortable. We live in a pretty warm climate right now and the type of building our home is does not hold cool air or heat very well. So we have to turn on and off the AC in each room we’re in pretty often to keep it at a constant & decent temp.

Hubby says

*Baby Boy will be fine.

*He can learn to regulate his body temperature.

*Your comfortable is not his comfortable.

*It doesn’t need to be so cool.

Ugh. Sometimes I swear single parents have it made. There’s no one there to argue with you about every single decision you make. Making you feel like you’re always doing something wrong, or just not the “right” way.

I love my hubby, don’t get me wrong. But the bickering every single day is just plain exhausting and it makes me sad to think that Baby Boy will grow up with us bickering at each other all the time. Breaks my heart a little.

ANYWAYS –

So yeah, any advice on how hot or cold a room should be for Baby Boy to sleep safely? Please, let me know!

Lots of Love,

~ Ray
